Anthony Wan, JD, CFA

Born to immigrant parents seeking a better life in the United States, Anthony spent part of his youth growing up in the Mass Pike Towers, a low-income housing development adjacent to Boston’s Chinatown. There, he learned what the value of a hard-earned dollar meant to a family, and what the sense of financial security or freedom could ultimately mean as well.

Anthony studied hard, and through a combination of generous scholarships and financial aid, graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Tufts University with a degree in Economics. Thereafter, he earned his JD, with a Tax Concentration, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. In addition to being a member of the California and Massachusetts State Bars, Anthony also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst ® (CFA) designation, a well-respected and well-recognized designation in the field of investment management.

Anthony has spent the past decade servicing high-net-worth individuals and their families in wealth and tax matters at institutions such as Andersen Tax (formerly WTAS, Inc.), a prominent wealth management firm in Palo Alto, and at Ayco Goldman Sachs. In his current role as the Managing Member and Founder of WealthBoost Advisors, LLC, he seeks to continue his work with high-net-worth individuals, and has expanded his clientele to include the Bay Area’s working professionals and aspiring high-net-worth individuals who are looking to grow their wealth and meet their goals both personally and financially.
